PPE Category III Pathway (Regulation EU 2016/425)

Protection rebuilt
from the nose up.

The real standard is the one workers actually wear. NASO-SHIELD is a comfort-first intranasal filter engineered down to the membrane.

A design hypothesis, illustrated.

This conceptual graphic shows the design aim of leaving most facial skin unobstructed. Colors are illustrative, not thermal measurements or a comparative efficacy test.

NASO-SHIELD

Intranasal prototype; thermal benefit to be tested.

Conventional FFP2

Conventional face coverage; no thermal result shown.

Engineering over marketing.

NASO-SHIELD is a prototype. Its design aims to improve wearability; product performance is not externally validated.

Intranasal architecture

A reusable structure with replaceable filters, designed for the nasal vestibule. Mouth-breathing limitations and protection require evaluation.

Micro-Perforated Membrane

Replaceable filter concept. Filtration efficiency and breathing resistance require laboratory testing.

Vestibular contact design

Material selection and biological compatibility remain subject to verification; no irritation-free outcome is claimed.

Communication design aim

Keeping the mouth unobstructed is intended to support communication; workplace benefit remains to be evaluated.

The Pathway

Prototype development, official IP evidence and planned validation.

Current

Prototype development

Design not frozen. TRL 4 is a management assessment only.

Planned evaluation

Category III PPE pathway

Development toward Regulation (EU) 2016/425. No CE certification or FFP2/FFP3 equivalence is claimed.

Planned

User-fit studies

Comfort and wearability evaluation after applicable safety and study gates. No completed industrial pilot is implied.
